I think it could be additional or optional. Not everyone can do sports (f.e. disabled people). There are PE lessons in schools but not everyone is participating. Not everyone likes sports and not every job requires being fit. So I think that theres no need of changing that. But on the other hand, we dont want our future generations to be so fat as many americans are nowadays, do we?
